My training is in Middle and Old English literatures; my completed dissertation deals with the manuscript contexts of several Anglo-Norman and Latin chronicles of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries; my day job involves XML, textual editing, front/back end design of a scholarly Web site, and an iconic nineteenth-century American writer; I lurk in SF fandom and several media fandoms; I play video games... and I'd like to learn more.
